Sports Day

Last week was very busy for us, lets start by talking about Sports Day!  We all had great fun.  The events were split in two parts, first we did lots of sporting activities like football dribble, bean-bag challenge and penalty shoot (Vincent put three past Mr Davies!).
After that we did races - egg and spoon, sack race and running race.  The winning team will be revealed tomorrow!

Goal Ball

As part of our Olympics topic we played Goalball, a game from the Paralympics.  Goal Ball  is played by partially sighted and blind people.  The aim of the game is score more goals than the other team, by throwing the ball into the net.  Because you can't see the ball you have to listen very carefully for the jangling bells! We played it wearing blindfolds!
