Last week was very busy for us, lets start by talking about Sports Day! We all had great fun. The events were split in two parts, first we did lots of sporting activities like football dribble, bean-bag challenge and penalty shoot (Vincent put three past Mr Davies!).
After that we did races - egg and spoon, sack race and running race. The winning team will be revealed tomorrow!

Goal Ball
As part of our Olympics topic we played Goalball, a game from the Paralympics. Goal Ball is played by partially sighted and blind people. The aim of the game is score more goals than the other team, by throwing the ball into the net. Because you can't see the ball you have to listen very carefully for the jangling bells! We played it wearing blindfolds!

Then you press plain text and type the imformation about the olmpics. After that you can change the colour of the qr code, to make sume more imformation you have to backspace all of your typing, then you can make another QR code.

Quadblogging
We're about to start an exciting adventure! The badgers are going to be quadblogging - we have been grouped with three other primary schools (two in England, one in New Zealand). We will take time to look at their blogs and post comments on them, they will do the same to us!

Medal making
By Omar and Hassan
We started by making a circle out of with clay. Then we smoothed them up, next we left them and a few days later we painted them with gold, silver and bronze paint. They look shiny, just like the Olympic medals!

Recount about our trip on the Elsdale 2
By Hani and Abisola
Yesterday badger class went on a school trip to Elsdale 2. Mr.Davies nearly took us on the wrong bus but luckily Miss.Sharmer stopped Mr.Davies! After an hour we arrived. First we got on the boat, we sat down in rows and Mike told us a bit about boats. We learnt that poor people lived on boats and the children only went to school one day a week because they had to work with their parents. Next we had to match the cards which were about helping and harming our environment. We saw three caterpillars and they were hairy. We had to wait 30 minites to get on the bus back to school.

Floating Badgers
Wow, what a great day! The Badgers traveled to Hayes on the H28 bus, then we boarded the Elsdale II. We set off almost immediately and spent an idyllic four hours on the canal. All the adults that supervised on the trip were really impressed with the Badger's behaviour!
